Join our Community! Camp Jones Gulch is looking for responsible and caring individuals to bring their skills and a healthy attitude to our summer staff community. Our first priority is finding counselors and program staff who will model positive, healthy living for our campers. We are also looking for enthusiasm, character and activity skills that can support and add to our program. Being a counselor requires flexibility, creativity and patience in order to deal with the sometimes unexpected challenges of working with children. We work from Sunday morning to Friday after nine PM. All counselors will work two bus duty shifts and one weekend overnight shift-alternate time off will be arranged. During the counselor's day off they are within an hour of San Francisco, San Jose and Santa Cruz and only 12 miles from the ocean. Some counselors will be invited to work for a few weeks before and after camp to help with group programming.
