The Garden

Our Environmental Learning Garden is the highlight of many camper and group participant's visit. The garden features a strawbale house built by the San Mateo County Outdoor Education program.

The garden has demonstrations of alternative energy including solar panels, and cob and solar ovens.

Raised beds hold a variety of herbs and vegetables. A grape vine trellis and multiple fig and apple trees line the West side of the garden. A frog and tadpole pond and chickens offer the campers an opportunity to see nature up close. Don't miss an opportunity to see this beautiful garden!
