TEEN ADVENTURE CAMPS YOSEMITE SURFING SPRING BREAK
Meet new friends, build character and self-esteem and learn a new skill. In the Bay Area and Northern California
New for 2008, all trips are 10 days long. Each will start and end at Camp Jones Gulch in La Honda, CA. After welcoming and getting to know the campers the first night, we'll head out to our Ropes Course for some teambuilding in the trees. We have also built in time for practice hiking and surf techniques prior to traveling away from the Bay Area.

| JUNIOR HIGH-entering grades 6-8
Yosemite Base Camp (10 Days) July 2-11 or July 16-25 Orientation: June 14, 1:00 PM Join our staff, volunteers and other campers your own age for this great introduction to hiking for all skill levels. The group will be camping most nights in the Yosemite Valley and day-hiking to waterfalls, scenic outlooks and more. Experience the beauty of Yosemite National Park, while learning leadership, teamwork and outdoor living skills. Explore the beauty of California's most scenic National Park.
Surf and Beach (10 Days) August 7-16 Orientation: July 15, 1:00 PM For this introductory trip we will base the group along the Monterey Bay. Our trained leaders will use the majority of the time on surfing instruction and practice, while other programs will include beach volleyball, frisbee and other games. Participants will camp at state beaches with tents or tarps beneath the stars. Don't miss out on this incredibly wet and fun-filled experience. NO PREVIOUS SURFING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, but proficiency in swimming is required.
HIGH SCHOOL-entering grades 9-12
Yosemite Backpack (10 Days) July 2-11 or July 16-25 Orientation: June 14, 2:30PM This backpacking trek takes campers into the High Sierras through the spectacular backcountry of Yosemite National Park and ends with a relaxing evening in the Yosemite Valley. Participants will be grouped by ability and experience. This is a great opportunity to explore one of our country's oldest and most famous National Parks.
Surf Safari (10 Days) August 7-16 Orientation: July 15, 2:30 PM Our talented surf staff is ready to help you catch some gnarly waves. We will travel from Camp Jones Gulch to San Luis Obispo and then back through Santa Cruz hitting beaches along the way. Camp at state beaches, surf during the day and catch some rays during this exciting, yet mellow adventure. Enjoy a night of fun playing at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
